Access by Design is a Chichester Web Design Agency currently looking for a full-time salesperson to join its expanding team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, articulate and above all, someone with a passion for our products.

A working knowledge of general IT is required but we are not looking for someone with web design knowledge, rather someone who can sell our products effectively.

Candidates must have their own car and be willing to commit fully to what will be an extremely demanding and rewarding career, working for one of the most exciting, progressive and innovative web companies in the South. Junior Web Designer Wanted

Access – by Design is one of the fastest growing web design houses in the south coast. Soon to be expanding into a brand new office complex, we are looking for a new Junior Web Designer to join our dedicated team. All Candidates will need a sound, if basic, knowledge of PHP, HTML and CSS to apply. However, we are specifically looking for a designer who demonstrates superb skills in art and design such as a compelling application of colour, visual architectural, and use of graphics within their web design ideas. Skills in Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design are ideal and any experience in video production and/or 3d Graphics/animation, will strengthen an application. Yet, all the above will be unnecessary (as successful candidate will receive training in all these areas as standard) if candidates can show they are a quick learners and their web designs demonstrate exciting, individual visual ideas
To apply, please submit two contrasting, single-page web designs, in any format, for any two imaginary clients. All elements must have been created by the candidate. The candidates with the most interesting designs will then be invited to a panel interview to explore what they could bring to our company.
The rate of pay will be £7.50 per hour for a three month trial period with a view to a permanent post and pay review at the end of this time, dependant on a positive performance review. Our Artistic Director has a ‘Canine Partner’ so applicants need to be happy to work with a dog present.

Sparks Gala Dinner Event – all from one referral …

A referral from John Dunt, JD Fire and Security Ltd, back in the summer led to Sparks holding its first gala evening in the South East at The Indigo Restaurant in Worthing. Dinner was prepared by ex Executive Chef of the Ritz, David Miller and his son Ben, who is currently Head Chef of The Indigo.

The guests were treated to a wonderful 7-course meal, based on the celebrated ‘Ritz’ menu and Sparks Ambassador, John Altman aka ‘Nasty’ Nick Cotton was on hand to represent the charity.

Sparks would like to thank Simon Margaroli, Director of Ardington Hotel and his team for all their vision and enthusiasm in organising the evening.

A script donated by John Altman was auctioned, but only after, both John and the auctioneer Ian Hart acted out John’s final EastEnder’s scene. The evening raised an amazing £4,500. John also took time to thank Tony Hedger, (pictured) A&T Business Associates who sponsored the Sparks International Birdman.

Also enjoying the evening was a new Sparks ambassador, Sue Atkins, coach and author of ‘Raising Happy Children For Dummies.’ Sue is often found on the BBC Breakfast sofa commenting on child issues.
